About the Quilt
This quilt is 31" x 34 3/4" big, a perfect crib size blanket or maybe even a stroller blanket. This quilt is made with pre-washed 100% cotton and natural batting.

Working with cozy flannel is easy. We like to pre-wash it with dye and perfume free detergent on a warm gentle cycle. We dry our cozy flannel on a delicate cycle and iron it when needed. Washing cozy flannel this way, lets us know that the flannel is pre-shrunk.
One note about this material is that it isn't very forgiving, so knowing where and how you want your stitches to look is key.
An earlier cozy flannel quilt we put together was the Blue Dog Quilt (shown on right).
The start of a new project always begins with a pattern in the N&D studio. Even has we are choosing a design, a color palette is being carefully selected.
For our latest project, a Bear Quilt, we've chosen a variety of brown cozy flannels, including those to the left. (Stay tuned for more photos.)
